Our Story
Move Yourself Trailer Hire (MYST) was founded in
1985 by Bill Cowie. Prior to the establishment of
MYST, Bill was building trailers commercially and
started with an arc welder and hacksaw.
Bill built his first trailer in his dirt floored workshop
and offered it for sale. This workshop ironically was
a workshop attached to a service station in the 1970’s.
MYST has now grown to almost 1000 sites across Australia
and employs almost 100 hard working Australians. MYST
also has 4000+ trailers, Utes, Trucks and Lawnmowers.
Bill now has his 3 children working along side him in
the business, and MYST is very much a family business
with a family culture.
